Journey into yesteryear aboard a restored Pullman car.

For generations Americans traveled predominantly by train. From that by-gone era, the DOVER HARBOR is the last revenue heavyweight Pullman car in its original configuration operating unrestricted on the mainline rails of America. With daytime accommodations for up to 24 and overnight accommodation for up to 10, a DOVER HARBOR journey will be a memory cherished for a lifetime.

Based in Washington, D.C. the DOVER HARBOR has been beautifully restored and is available for mobile and stationary charters nationwide.

“Mothers with their babes alseep, rockin to the gentle beat and the rhythm of the rails is all they feel.” – Steve Goodman

We also offer occasional Public Trips aboard DOVER HARBOR where you can buy a ticket without renting the whole car and ride along with us.

Get there looking your best!

Here is a vintage Pullman advertisement showing two gentlemen in a men’s washroom. Very nostalgic. This is grand, but aboard DOVER HARBOR your experience is even better! Each bedroom has its own sink, razor outlet, toilet, and there are plenty of towels. So the next time you travel, go the way Americans have been doing…
